The Real Presence: Exploring the Biblical Foundation of the Eucharist

November 16th @ 7pm (Parish Hall)

“This is my Body… this is the chalice of my Blood.”

We hear these words every time we attend Mass, but what exactly did Jesus mean when he said this at the Last Supper? Did he intend this to be literal or just symbolic? What insights does the biblical narrative as a whole provide to help us understand them?

This talk will address these questions and unpack one of the greatest mysteries of our faith: the Eucharist. Join us as we journey deep into the Bible, exploring some of the Old Testament and New Testament foundations of the Eucharist, to renew our understanding and appreciation of the Most Blessed Sacrament. We will also spend time discussing ways we can help foster the belief in the Real Presence within ourselves and how we can share it with others.
